Visible cylindrical fixtures
Surface mounted LED downlight options for ceilings without a recess
- Seven published 50W to 150W models
- 200mm diameter with model-specific body heights
- Documented beam and light-color options
- Surface fixing and control details for sample discussion
Product selection
Start with the mounting position
The fixing surface
Identify the ceiling material and available structural support. The fixture bracket and site fasteners must form a suitable attachment; a finished ceiling surface alone does not establish that support.
The light destination
State whether the fixture serves a desk area, merchandise, a public hall or another task. The proposed positions and required distribution matter alongside the selected power.
The supply and controls
Record the supply voltage and any existing dimming equipment. The selected driver version and control interface need to match the actual electrical system.
The visible body
Compare the fixture height and finish with the ceiling detail. Allow access to connections and fixing points as well as room for the visible body.

Working with VST
Support for the fixture and its installation context
A defined model comparison
The seven published models provide a starting point for output and body-size comparison. VST can keep the chosen power, optic and driver version together in the product specification.
Layout discussion where it matters
VST can discuss photometric data and a DIALux-based layout using your room dimensions, task and proposed mounting positions. This supports optical selection before sampling.
A representative installed sample
A sample can test the visible body, mounting access and appearance at the intended position. It is particularly useful where a new cylindrical fixture changes the ceiling’s visual character.
Production identification
VST can identify the agreed power, light color and control version through labeling and packing. This helps keep externally similar fixtures separate when a project uses several configurations.

Surface fixing
The cylindrical format can be selected for surface installation. The site fixing detail needs to suit the ceiling structure and chosen bracket.
Beam choices
Published options include 60°, 90° and 120° distributions. Use the selected optic’s data to assess coverage from the intended position.
Protection options
The model pages list IP54 and optional IP65 configurations. Specify the version for the actual exposure; do not assume identical protection across every order.
Housing finish
VST can discuss the housing finish with the project appearance. An agreed sample helps define the finish before it is repeated across visible ceiling positions.

Video introduction
VST and customer introductions
VST’s company introduction
The company video provides background before you discuss the cylindrical downlight range. Use the product comparison and the intended ceiling positions to focus the next conversation. The video is not a mounting instruction or evidence that a particular fixture configuration meets your project’s lighting criteria.
Customer cooperation context
This customer introduction offers a general view of working with VST. For your own order, identify the sample decision and the product codes needed by the installation team. Keep those requirements separate from any assumptions about the customer’s product or project shown in the video.
