Long linear lighting

50W LED tri-proof light for continuous industrial routes

Plan your 50W LED tri-proof light installation around the route and the light needed along it.
  • 1500mm body for extended industrial and service routes.
  • Surface or suspended mounting to suit the available supports.
  • Choose the voltage, diffuser and color for your site.
  • VST can help evaluate fixture spacing with photometric data before you decide the quantity.

Project fit

Plan the lighting along your route

Plan fixture positions around the surfaces you need to illuminate and the available mounting points. Long fittings can simplify the layout, but their length does not tell you how far apart to install them.
A 50W LED tri-proof light installation can serve a passage, loading support area or parking circulation route. Each needs a different balance of horizontal light, vertical visibility and viewing comfort. As a 50W LED tri-proof light supplier, VST can develop a layout from your site dimensions and lighting targets. Start with a sketch and the mounting height. Detailed construction drawings can follow if needed.
✓

Lighting task first

Separate pedestrian visibility from inspection work or handling tasks. The same route may need different lighting levels at crossings, doors and workstations.

✓

Long-body handling

Check access for carrying and installing a 1500mm fitting. Narrow stairs, service openings and obstructions can affect how the assembled unit reaches its mounting position.

✓

Power schedule

Record fixture quantity, operating hours and control zones in the electrical schedule. To estimate savings, you also need consumption and usage data for the existing installation.

Factory support

Get a specification your installation team can use

VST is a China-based 50W LED tri-proof light manufacturer. Our engineers can turn your site requirements into a product specification and production requirements.
✓

DIALux layout support

VST engineers can simulate lighting along your route. Comparing fixture positions helps identify dark transitions that are easy to miss when looking only at total lumens.

✓

Photometric verification

Our in-house dark room measures light distribution. Request data for the optics you intend to order so your lighting calculation uses the relevant distribution.

✓

Traceable inspection stages

Checks take place at incoming, production, final and outgoing stages. Agree which assembly details you need recorded in the inspection report for your order.

✓

Electrical and structural input

Electrical and structural engineers can work through cable entry, fixings and component choices together. This helps keep the product schedule consistent with the installation instructions.

Power and length

What defines a 50W LED tri-proof light?

This category combines a nominal 50-watt electrical load with an enclosed linear lighting assembly. Rated power describes consumption; delivered light and usable coverage depend on the complete optical and electrical design.
The VST model on this page uses a 1500mm body. A 5ft LED triproof light is a nominal commercial format, so compare the actual dimensions and mounting drawing with your existing installation. The designation tri-proof does not establish resistance to every chemical or suitability for explosive atmospheres. Match the selected ingress rating, enclosure material and environment individually. A long emitting surface can distribute light along a route, while the installation height and spacing determine how that light reaches the working plane.

Published configuration

Start with the 1500mm standard model

Our 50W LED tri-proof light factory supplies this standard platform with configurable options. Specify the options together so the finished assembly meets your installation requirements.

Order preparation

Prepare the labels and shipment

Include product identification and packing requirements in the order specification.

Long carton protection

VST can adapt the export packing to support the long housing, protect the diffuser and keep the projecting cable-entry end secure during handling.

Private identification

An approved product label can distinguish voltage and color versions. This helps site teams sort fittings when several product schedules arrive in one shipment.

Evaluation units

A sample lets you examine the actual enclosure and mounting interface before larger quantities are scheduled for multiple sections of a project.

Combined dispatch

VST can coordinate shipment with goods from other suppliers. Agree who handles packing and dispatch for each part of the consignment.

Component choices

Light source, diffuser and housing

Three physical parts affect output, appearance and the integrity of the assembled enclosure.

LED package

SMD 2835 light source

The standard model uses SMD 2835 emitters. Along a continuous route, differences in color between neighboring fittings are easy to notice, so include the required color consistency in the production specification. This is especially useful when a later phase must match an earlier installation. Package type alone cannot establish fixture output or lifetime. The component image illustrates the package type.

Diffuser

A continuous PC diffuser

The diffuser spreads light from individual emitters across its surface. Opal and transparent finishes leave the sources visible to different degrees. Compare them from the angles people will see, especially under a low ceiling. Use optical data for the chosen finish: the two covers should not be assumed to give the same distribution or delivered output.

Housing

The extended PC housing

The grey housing supports the optical assembly along its full length. Its fixing points and the supporting surface must carry the fitting without twisting it. If the body distorts, the cover may not seat evenly and the enclosure may lose its seal. Check the supports before installation, and avoid improvised fixings that pull the body against an uneven ceiling.

Application planning

Where a 50W LED tri-proof light fits

Choose the lighting approach by the task and the conditions along the route.

Warehouse circulation aisles

Long warehouse circulation aisles need clear visibility around rack ends and crossing points. Establish the mounting height, rack layout and movement routes before choosing positions, including any changes planned for the storage layout. VST can model the proposed distribution and provide configuration choices for the areas where pedestrian and vehicle routes meet.

Covered loading support

Under a loading canopy, the light must support movement between the building and vehicle without obstructing doors or lifting equipment. Check wind-driven moisture, nearby equipment clearances and the contrast at the open edge. VST can help select the enclosure configuration and mounting arrangement for the sheltered portion of the loading area.

Utility access tunnels

A utility tunnel needs light on the walking surface and accessible pipework along a confined route. Identify damp sections, fixing points and maintenance access, and decide separately whether emergency lighting is required. From your route drawing, VST can suggest fixture positions and discuss wiring suited to the available space.

Large parking circulation zones

Parking circulation areas combine turning vehicles, columns and signs that can interrupt visibility. Consider sightlines, glare from the normal driving position and how presence controls divide the space into operating zones. VST can assist with photometric selection and control requirements so the proposed lighting remains useful around structural obstructions.

Production access galleries

An access gallery beside production equipment requires light on stairs, walkways and service points rather than only on the floor below. Document vibration, local heat and the position of moving machinery near each fitting. VST engineering can examine the mechanical constraints and suggest a configuration suited to the actual access task.

Product questions

Remaining 50W LED tri-proof light decisions

Before ordering your 50W LED tri-proof light fittings, settle the spacing, circuit and exposure requirements for the site. The standard model table cannot determine these for your building. The questions below address those installation decisions.

No. Spacing needs a lighting calculation using the selected distribution, mounting height and surfaces. A high total lumen figure can still leave uneven areas between fittings. Provide the target working plane and any obstructions so the calculation measures the part of the route that matters.

Separate the electrical requirement from the installation hardware so each is priced clearly.
Decision Information to provide
Supply circuit Site voltage and switching arrangement
Mechanical supports Surface brackets or suspension requirement
Cable connection Entry position and incoming cable
Operation Continuous lighting or defined sensor behavior

Not automatically. Nominal length does not establish bracket spacing, body width or the original fastening method. Compare the VST mounting drawing with the supports you intend to retain. Existing fluorescent components should not be assumed suitable for a complete integrated fitting.

Only when the supplied configuration permits it. The terminal arrangement, conductor rating and circuit protection set the allowed run. Request the applicable wiring drawing and load limit; multiplying nominal wattage does not address inrush current or terminal capacity.

An ingress rating does not establish chemical compatibility. Provide the cleaning agent, concentration, temperature and exposure method. Enclosure and seal suitability need to be assessed for that combination, and hazardous atmospheres require independently appropriate equipment.
