Fitted storage lighting

LED strip lights for closets that reveal your stored items

Bring light to hanging clothes and storage compartments without letting the furniture block it.
  • Select narrow PCB options for the available channel.
  • Choose white-light quality for fabrics and accessories.
  • Keep door travel and accessible wiring in the layout.
  • Ask VST about prepared strip sections for your wardrobe design.

See inside the storage

Put the light where the clothes cannot block it

Position LED strip lights for closets around the storage layout. A bright strip behind hanging garments can leave their fronts in shadow; a channel near the front edge can direct light onto the clothes you need to see.
Start with a sketch of the rails, shelves, doors and available recesses. LED strip lights for wardrobes can run beside hanging space or above a compartment, depending on the opening. As a wardrobe LED strip supplier, VST can compare strip options with your channel dimensions. Keep the power supply out of packed storage, with enough access to replace it after the furniture is installed.
✓

Test with clothing present

Evaluate an occupied hanging bay rather than an empty cabinet. Garments change shadows, reflectance and the distance between stored items and the light.

✓

Keep the source comfortable

Look toward the lit wardrobe from normal standing and seated positions. A cover and recessed position should prevent an exposed bright line at eye level.

✓

Separate switching from tape

A door contact, motion sensor and manual switch perform different jobs. Choose the behavior before selecting a compatible control package.

Furniture integration

Resolve lighting details before cabinet production

As a wardrobe LED strip manufacturer, VST can work from your furniture design to fit the lighting into the cabinet assembly sequence.
✓

Prepared section lengths

Cut sections can be discussed for each cabinet compartment. Agreeing these lengths before production leaves fewer decisions for the furniture assembly team.

✓

Harness routing support

We can check lead direction and cable exits against the panel layout, including the space needed for hinges and drawer runners.

✓

Light-quality evaluation

VST can use integrating-sphere measurements to discuss color temperature and color rendering. Compare the selected white light with your actual fabrics and furniture finishes.

✓

Assembly communication

A drawing and labeled sample can show which section belongs in each cabinet bay, so differences are clear before furniture production begins.

Product scope

What LED strip lights for closets include

Flexible tape is the light source. A complete wardrobe installation also needs an appropriate power supply, mounting channel and a compatible switching method.
Fixed-white tape uses a selected color temperature; tunable-white tape requires a controller with the correct white-channel outputs. Neither is automatically a battery light or a door-sensor kit. Evaluate LED strip lights for closets as part of the finished furniture. The cover limits contact with the tape, the position affects glare, and the channel helps manage heat. The published models below are possible light sources. Sensor behavior and which parts are included in the finished assembly need separate decisions.

Light-Source choices

Match the strip to the cabinet constraint

Choose a representative bare-strip route first. A narrower carrier, higher color-rendering option or lower load solves a different furniture problem.

Repeatable assembly

Keep the cabinet installation organized

A wardrobe LED strip OEM supplier can organize lighting parts to suit the way your furniture is made.

Identified Connections

Cable-exit names and section labels help your team identify similar lengths during fitting, without having to reconstruct the lighting layout from memory.

White-Light Choice

Choose fixed white for a consistent appearance, or tunable white if adjustment is needed. The latter requires controls matched to the white channels.

Documented Changes

If panel depth or rail position changes, check the effect on the lighting before the revised cabinet parts reach assembly.

Protected Packing

Prepared lengths can be grouped and protected for export. This makes loose leads and small sections easier to count when cabinet kits arrive.

Physical details

Components in LED strip lights for closets

The emitting surface produces the light, the flexible board carries the circuits, and the lead connects the strip to the cabinet wiring.

Component 1

White-light emitting surface

COB tape produces a continuous-looking line instead of widely separated light points. How it looks in the wardrobe still depends on the cover depth, recess and viewing angle. Try LED strip lights for closets with the doors open and the garments in place, as they will be used. Check glossy doors and accessory trays too: a continuous line can still create a distracting reflection.

Component 2

Flexible PCB

The flexible board supports the electrical tracks and sets the strip width. A narrow PCB may fit a compact furniture channel, but allow space for the connection as well. The cover and fixings must not pinch the board. Support the strip along its intended route and avoid folds where it passes between compartments; the finished assembly needs more thought than matching PCB width to a recess.

Component 3

Lead termination

The lead termination connects the cabinet wiring to the tape. Put it where it can still be reached after the shelves are fitted, so a section can be installed or replaced without dismantling the furniture. Support the cable against tension and keep it clear of moving hardware. Once the exit position and connection requirements are known, ask about leads assembled to suit the cabinet.

Product and service

Get to know the people behind the strip

The LED strip introduction and customer video provide different perspectives on VST cooperation.

Introducing the LED strip range

The category video introduces VST strip lighting. Use your cabinet section drawing to narrow the options for a furniture project. The introduction does not establish that VST has supplied a particular door sensor or a complete wardrobe kit.

A view of customer cooperation

The customer video offers a view of cooperation with VST. In a fitted-storage project, agree how the cabinet parts relate to the lighting sections and who handles each question. Another project may use a different furniture construction.

Storage applications

Choose LED strip lights for closets by storage task

Hanging clothes, drawers and luggage bays create different shadows and access needs. Check each arrangement with the doors in use.
Row of jackets and shirts hanging in a wooden wardrobe with warm backlighting and drawers below edge of rail.

Walk-in hanging bays

Light from the front of a full-height bay can reach jackets and dresses that would otherwise cast shadows on each other. Check the rail position, garment depth and standing sightline before locating vertical channels. VST can suggest strip widths and lead exits, with a lit sample used to judge an occupied bay.
Built-in wooden wardrobe with sliding doors; left and right sections show hanging shirts, shelves, and three drawers, warm interior lighting.

Sliding-door wardrobes

Sliding doors reveal only part of the wardrobe at once, so the lights need to serve the accessible opening. Check door overlap and track travel, and decide whether the compartments switch separately. We can discuss fixed strip sections and wiring clear of the moving panels, together with the required door-control behavior.
Open wooden watch drawer with multiple compartments holding assorted wristwatches under warm LED light.

Accessory drawers

An accessory drawer needs light close to small items without a bright source facing the user. Check drawer travel and cover clearance, and decide whether the light stays fixed to the cabinet. VST can evaluate a short strip assembly in the chosen mounting detail while avoiding an unsupported cable that moves with the drawer.

Hotel luggage storage

In a hotel luggage bay, light beneath the upper shelf can help guests see inside a suitcase. Check shelf depth, likely contact from baggage and how the light is switched from the room. Our team can propose a covered strip position and protected cable exits that suit furniture delivery and installation.

Shoe compartments

Inclined shoe shelves can block light from reaching the rows below. Check where the shelf edges cast shadows, how the compartment is cleaned and the depth available for side channels. VST can help lay out the sections and compare white-light samples so the shoes are visible without excessive glare inside the cabinet.

Specification starting points

LED strip lights for closets: reference data and setup

These representative light sources support the storage routes above. The table describes the strip, not a complete sensor fixture.
Specification Published value
C384W1005 12V / 24V; 5mm COB; 10W/m; CRI 80/92
C320W1008 24V; 8mm COB; 10W/m; CRI 80; 50mm cut
S2835L144W0608 24V; 8mm SMD 2835; 6W/m; 62.5mm cut
Base protection Listed models: IP20; IP65 / IP67 options
Standard reel 5 meters for these listed models
Plan prepared lengths, lead positions, labels and packaging around cabinet assembly. Ask VST about the control behavior you need; closet use does not mean a sensor comes with the strip. Special profiles or major structural changes may need separate development.
At the wardrobe LED strip factory, the cabinet section schedule can guide production. Cutting and connection work should follow the selected model, while outgoing checks cover identification and visible workmanship. Keep the approved sample as the physical reference for fitting each section into the furniture.
Disconnect the supply during fitting. Install the selected strip on a suitable heat-managing support, fit its cover and keep clothing clear of the assembly. Route leads away from hinge and runner movement. Check operation with doors closed and open, then retain access to the power supply and service connections.

Supply planning

Ordering LED strip lights for closets

Plan quantities and commercial terms around the repeatable cabinet assembly.
01

Yes, samples can be arranged before committing to the production quantity. Sample charges may be credited to a later bulk order when agreed. Specify the trial cabinet dimensions so the material can answer the fit questions that matter.
02

The general LED strip starting quantity is 500 meters, rather than a fixed number of cabinets. Prepared lengths and model variations affect how the order is organized. Request a quotation using both the total strip length and the intended cabinet schedule.
03

Allow typical production of 2-3 weeks for regular strip products. Light customization usually needs about 3-4 weeks; extensive work may take 4-6 weeks. Add transport time separately and align the order schedule with the cabinet assembly date.
04

Private labeling and custom packaging are supported. Provide the cabinet references and required package identification. Tooling may be chargeable for extensive custom work, so agree the scope and costs before treating a new part as a repeatable production item.
05

Samples require 100% advance payment and can be paid through PayPal, Western Union or bank transfer. Bulk orders normally use a 30% bank-transfer deposit, with the remaining 70% settled before shipment.
06

Use the selected model terms: C320W1008 currently lists two years; C384W1005 and S2835L144W0608 list three. If a VST product develops a quality issue, send a short description and photos or video so replacement arrangements can be discussed.

Before you choose

Practical wardrobe-lighting questions

LED strip lights for closets need to work with the storage full and the doors fitted. The remaining questions concern control behavior, cleaning and access for repairs, all of which can affect the furniture specification you settle on.

No. Choose the switch around how the storage is used. A motion sensor may suit a walk-in space, while door control may suit a closed compartment. The bare strip contains neither, so specify a compatible switching assembly separately.

Storage opening Behavior to discuss
Hinged compartment Light follows the door position
Sliding wardrobe Accessible bay lights without false triggering
Walk-in space Presence detection with suitable delay
Check the actual doors and sensor positions together; the same control location will not work for every furniture design.

Only with a power system designed for that use. The listed wired models are not rechargeable fixtures. Check their load against the operating time you need, along with charging access and protection. Reel length alone does not tell you how long a battery will last.

Choose a finished construction suitable for the cleaning method. A covered dry-location assembly should not be treated as washable. Keep liquid away from connections and power components; discuss a protected construction if damp wiping can reach the lighting recess.

Not by itself. Adjusting color temperature changes how the scene looks; color rendering is a separate specification. Choose the light quality needed for comparing fabrics and try it with the actual materials. Tunable white also requires compatible control of both white channels.

Yes, if the cabinet leaves the necessary access. Plan removable covers, reachable joints and an accessible power supply before closing the furniture around them. A lighting connection should be serviceable without having to damage finished cabinet parts.
