Standard and custom profiles

LED Profile Manufacturer for Standard and Custom Assemblies

VST is an aluminum channel supplier with published sections and a route for drawing-based changes. Start by checking whether an existing body fits the light engine and installation.

  • Keep the quoted section and sample on one drawing revision.
  • Approve the cover and end pieces with the body.
  • Identify cut lengths before repeat production.

Product overview

LED Profiles for Standard and Custom Lighting Assemblies

Carry one approved section revision from drawing through sample and repeat order.
A profile can match a drawing and still cause trouble at assembly if the diffuser clips poorly, an end cap blocks the cable or the finish varies. VST lists surface, recessed, plaster-in and suspended sections to check before new tooling is considered. For a quote from an LED profile manufacturer, send the host drawing, intended strip and expected quantity so the first discussion concerns a buildable assembly.
✓

Existing or new section

Find out whether a published profile meets the need before commissioning a new die.

✓

Drawing control

Agree which geometry, finish and accessory revision the sample represents.

✓

Assembly evidence

A profile approval should include its strip and cover mating parts.

✓

Repeat supply

Define the cut list and packing identifiers so the second order matches the first.

VST supply support

How VST Supports Your Profile Order

VST supplies LED components and discusses how a metal section, strip and cover will work in the finished light. As an LED profile manufacturer, it can keep the approved drawing, physical sample and component list tied to one revision. Changes to the cavity or mounting feet then have a clear approval path before repeat production.
✓

Component catalog

The published component catalog gives a starting section for several installation types. Compare those existing bodies with your host drawing before commissioning new geometry.

✓

System context

A metal channel becomes a lighting assembly when a strip and cover are added. Their fit, heat path and visible light line belong in the sample check.

✓

Revision discipline

Keep one drawing revision with the physical section that was approved. It gives the production team a clear reference when a later order is placed.

✓

Order preparation

List cut lengths, finish and accessories by model on the order. Similar-looking sections are easier to separate when their packing labels match that list.

Selection basis

Standard Sections, Finishes and New Extrusions

Existing sections, finish changes and new cross-sections follow different approval routes.
Supply scope changes the approval work. An existing section needs a fit check with its cover and accessories. A new finish or cut length adds production and packing controls. A new cross-section requires a drawing, tooling decision and physical sample. An aluminum LED profile manufacturer should make those steps clear for the proposed geometry; a drawing alone does not establish that the part is already in stock.

Compare Standard LED Profile Families

These four published families cover surface, recessed, plaster-in and suspended mounting. VST can answer an LED profile manufacturer inquiry with the matching section drawing, cover and accessory list for the form that fits your host product.

Practical checks

Drawing, Sample and Packing Controls

Use the drawing, assembly sample and labeled component list as the production reference.

Drawing revision

Use one revision-controlled section drawing for the quoted geometry. The same revision should follow the sample into the production order.

Assembly sample

Check the actual strip, diffuser and end treatment in a build sample. That reveals interface issues before the section is quoted at volume.

Repeat reference

Keep the approved section beside the drawing used for the first order. Later changes can be checked against that physical reference.

Component labels

Label lengths and covers by component line in the shipment. Clear component identification reduces errors on mixed model programs.

Component decisions

Profile Bodies, Covers and Light Sources

Control the extruded body, mating cover and chosen light engine as separate approval items.

Housing

Extruded section

SU1712 is a useful starting section for a surface-mounted sample. Its mounting feet and cover lips need to match the same drawing revision that will be quoted and produced. Mark the finish and cut length on that record as well. If the host product needs a different opening or fixing point, treat it as a changed section requiring its own drawing and sample.

Optical component

Matched cover

The diffuser is a mating component, with its own retention shape, visible finish and cut length. Approve it with the SU1712 body on a physical sample, especially if another team will assemble repeat orders. Keep the cover on the component list. A close-looking substitute may seat differently even when the metal profile has not changed.

Light source

LED source sample

The light engine turns the metal section into part of a finished luminaire. Board width, LED spacing, power and wiring all need to work with the section and its cover. Build one representative length before ordering a new tool or larger quantity. That sample can reveal a fit or light-line issue; electrical validation still belongs to the chosen strip and driver.

Company perspective

From drawing to repeat supply

The videos introduce VST and a customer's working experience. A repeatable profile program also needs an approved drawing revision, sample and component list.

Company background

The VST film introduces the broader operation behind component supply. Ask the team to connect your requested section to a drawing revision and a physical approval sample. That record matters when the same profile is reordered or produced in several cut lengths.

Customer view

A customer account can help you judge how it is to work with VST. For a profile program, settle the geometry and accessory list for your own order. A positive account from another project cannot replace those approvals.

Application guide

Profile Applications by Mounting Method

A shelf, equipment enclosure, plasterboard ceiling and suspended line each need a different profile interface. VST can use your host drawing to narrow the section before a sample is cut.

OEM luminaire development

Inside an OEM luminaire, the profile must fit the light engine and the order in which the product is assembled. Set strip width, cover engagement and wire clearance on the drawing. VST can provide a SU1712 sample where a changed opening or fastening point needs physical proof.

Multi-site retail programs

A store program needs the same visible light line at every location. Agree on the section, finish, cover and packing labels before volumes increase. A representative SU1712 assembly and component list from VST give later shipments an agreed appearance to match across different store locations.

Architectural plaster details

A plaster-in line becomes difficult to change once the board is finished. Check the wing, board build-up and route for future strip access while the ceiling detail can still move. A PR5014 section from VST lets the design and installation teams inspect the ceiling detail together.

Equipment light modules

Equipment lighting often has little space for the channel and its wire exit. Measure the fixing tolerance and decide how the strip will be replaced without removing the host enclosure. Send the CAD opening to VST for a RU0812 fit sample if the interface leaves little clearance.

Suspended commercial lines

A suspended line needs more than a straight extrusion: the hangers, power entry and body alignment must be planned together. Mark the support points and finished lengths on the ceiling drawing. The SPD4045 section lets VST identify which suspension accessories belong in a representative sample.

Discuss Your LED Profile Requirements

Send the host opening or section drawing, strip choice, finish, cut list and expected quantity. VST can compare existing profiles with the request and show which changes need a sample or new tooling.

For an order placed with an LED profile manufacturer, start with a published section if it fits the host product. A change in cut length or finish needs a controlled sample. A new cross-section requires a drawing, tooling decision and separate approval before a production quantity is quoted.
Carry the section revision through extrusion, finishing, cutting and packing. Identify the cover and accessories on the same component list used for the approved sample.
Approve the section sample against the drawing, verify accessories and wiring space, and record the mounting method in the assembly instruction before a production release.

Working with VST

Ordering and Sampling with VST

When ordering from an LED profile manufacturer, sample charges, MOQ and production timing depend on the selected section, finish and tooling scope.
01

As an LED profile supplier, VST can provide a physical sample from an available family when that section meets the drawing. The charge depends on the selection, and any credit against a later order must be agreed in advance.
02

SU1712 regular stock can be discussed from 100 meters according to its current product record. A new extrusion or special finish may require a larger production quantity; around 300 meters is only a general planning start. Ask VST for a line-specific MOQ once the drawing and sample scope are set.
03

Regular production is typically 2-3 weeks, light customization about 3-4 weeks and extensive work around 4-6 weeks. A new section also needs time for tooling and sample approval. These production ranges do not include transit or guarantee a delivery date.
04

Yes. VST supports private labeling and custom packing. Approve the section, finish and component identifiers first; the artwork and carton labels can then follow the exact list of extrusions and covers to be shipped.

Product questions

Profile Fit and Development Questions

When choosing an LED profile manufacturer, compare the proposed section, matching cover and sample-control process. Start with a drawing of the host product, approve the visible finish on a physical sample, and keep the cut-length list tied to that approved version for repeat orders.

Send the application, section drawing or target opening, strip width, finished length, diffuser preference, finish and estimated quantity. If a drawing is not ready, mark the mounting area and dimensions on a clear photo. That is enough to begin checking existing sections.

A standard section uses an existing profile geometry. Finish, length and accessory choices may still need production checks; a new cross-section can require tooling and additional sampling.
RouteApproval focus
Existing sectionFit and accessory set
New sectionDrawing and physical tool sample

No. A dimensional sample is useful for geometry, but anodized or painted appearance should be approved for the intended finish. The cover and end caps also need to be considered as a set when the line is visible.

List the finished length and tolerance for each section code. Long pieces may need different protection from short cut parts, so include the intended packing or shipment limits. VST can check the cut list against the model and order plan.

Consider a new tool when no published section meets the required fit, visible shape or assembly method. First test the closest existing sample and list the changes it cannot satisfy. That gives the new drawing and tooling quote a defined purpose.
