Industrial fixture planning
Industrial LED lighting for your production environment
Match industrial LED lighting to the tasks and operating conditions in your facility, from production halls to exterior service areas.
- High-bay options for open production spaces
- Protected battens for enclosed service areas
- Outdoor fixtures selected by distribution and exposure
- Engineering input for environment-specific requirements
Operating environment
Describe the process and operating conditions
Process exposure
Describe dust, moisture, heat, and cleaning methods where the fixture will sit. These conditions determine whether you need a general industrial fitting or specialist construction.
Access for service
Check how the fitting can be reached while production is stopped. Service access affects where you can mount it and how a failed unit can be replaced.
Machine visibility
Identify the working surfaces and moving parts that must be visible. General light on the circulation floor may not cover those tasks.
Circuit conditions
Give VST the supply range and relevant switching or surge conditions. Check them against the driver specified for the fixture you intend to order.

Facility support
Include the operating conditions in your quotation
Direct engineering discussion
Send the process conditions to the engineering team. They can identify which product limits need checking for the particular production room or service area.
Tests for the specific concern
Use photometric measurements, thermal imaging, or aging checks for the concern they address. Agree the relevant checks for the selected sample and its intended use.
Changes recorded by model
Describe any change to the housing, driver, or controls. A written scope lets you compare the proposed configuration with the original model.
Inspection across production stages
VST uses incoming, in-process, final, and outgoing checks for different sources of error. Agree inspection points for the product configuration you select.
Packing for heavy fittings
Heavy fittings and unusual shapes can need different packing. Talk through the handling requirements with VST before shipment so the packing arrangement suits the order.
Product boundary
Industrial LED lighting must match the operating conditions
Industrial fixture families
Choose the fitting for its installation
500W very-high-ceiling high bay
1200mm protected batten
150W industrial yard floodlight
Evidence to request
Four checks beyond rated power

Work-plane calculation
Calculate where the selected distribution puts light around machinery and task locations. Total lumen output alone does not show illumination on those surfaces.

Thermal construction
Metal fins provide a heat-transfer path. Their performance depends on clearance around the fitting and conditions at its mounting location.

Electrical option selection
The driver determines input and dimming limits. Check the selected option whenever the site supply or controller differs from the standard specification.

Configuration records
Retain model and component records for repeat orders. Record intended changes so they can be distinguished from accidental substitutions during supply.
Fixture construction
Inspect the source, lens, and thermal housing

Light generation
LED light source array

Light distribution
High-bay optical lens

Thermal management
Die-cast high-bay housing
Working with VST
VST and its customers
Meet the industrial fixture supply contact
This company introduction helps you get to know VST before discussing your facility order. Describe the process and separate standard fitting choices from special engineering. Obtain model documents for the operating conditions and any industrial hazards at your site.
A customer view of working with VST
See a customer perspective on cooperation with VST. In your own order, agree how process information, configuration changes, and production questions will be handled. Suitability for your facility needs the relevant product documents and tests for the selected configuration.

Process-related questions
Industrial LED lighting questions before selection
Identify the site exposure to decide which product evidence to request.
| Exposure | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Aggressive cleaning chemicals | Material compatibility |
| Temperature extremes | Operating and start limits |
| Combustible dust or gas | Applicable hazardous-area approval |
Describe the actual condition and check it against the fixture’s construction and documents. Select a standard fitting only where those records support the requirement at its installation point.
