Control-compatible lighting
Dimmable LED tube lights built around your control requirements
- Identify the control protocol before selecting the lamp.
- Check the lowest useful setting and how the system restarts.
- Match the tube, driver and control device.
- Test the complete fitting under its intended operating conditions.
Control comes first
Choose dimmable LED tube lights with the controls in mind
Lowest useful output
Set the lowest light level you need from dimmable LED tubes. The controller's position, electrical dimming percentage and brightness you perceive may differ.
Startup at a low setting
Test startup at a low setting and after power returns. A lamp may dim properly once running but behave differently when it first starts.
Circuit-level behavior
Count the lamps on each control and identify the circuit arrangement. A successful trial with one lamp does not establish how the full circuit will behave.

Engineering the combination
Resolve the control pairing before commissioning
Electrical engineering access
VST's electrical engineers can discuss the driver and control requirements with you. Describe the system clearly so they can assess whether the proposed connection is supported.
Application-led sampling
Try dimmable LED tube lights in a representative fitting using the intended controller. Agree which brightness settings and transitions to test before extending the trial.
Configuration communication
Sales and engineering can put the quoted control option into the written order. The driver choice should be explicit, even when lamp exteriors look alike.
Customization boundaries
Optical, electrical and label changes can be assessed together. Changing the control protocol may also require a different driver design and a revised development scope.

Evidence for selection
What to specify and test

Control configuration
VST can discuss electrical customization. Name the required protocol and controller so engineers can assess the proposed lamp against the actual installation.

Light at full output
Photometric measurements describe the lamp at full output. Test low-level behavior with the control system separately; it cannot be inferred from a full-output reading.

Production checkpoints
Incoming and production checks help keep components and assembly consistent. Identify the approved control version clearly so it can be followed through final inspection.

Variant labeling
Use custom labels to distinguish dimmable from non-dimmable versions. Clear identification helps prevent the wrong lamp being installed on a controlled circuit.

Company background and customer experience
Introduction to VST's business
The company introduction provides background for a discussion about adjustable lighting. Bring your control-system details to that conversation. Compatibility between an installed dimmer and a particular tube still needs to be established for the system you intend to use.
A customer view of cooperation
The customer video offers a view of working with VST. Agree how technical questions will move between the teams during your lighting project. Dimming curves, control pairings and measured results need separate technical evidence for the chosen system.
