Continuous RGB line
COB RGB LED strip for close-view color details
- Board width checked against the full profile
- The ordered voltage identified on the sample
- Analog RGB or addressable control chosen for the effect
Product fit
Fit the color line to the profile
Check the board width
VST COB RGB models have different board widths. Leave room for the connection and diffuser as well as the luminous face.
Select one voltage version
Where the model has 12V and 24V versions, record the voltage you are ordering on the sample and controller schedule.
Verify the color scene
An analog RGB circuit changes the connected section together. Choose an addressable product when different segments must follow separate programs.
Plan the cut ends
Check how cut points and pads fit the required lengths before finalizing the profile and wire exit.

Working with VST
Check the model in your fixture
Profile matching
Supply a fixture drawing so VST can compare strip width, diffuser position and lead exit. These details help identify a model to sample.
Color evaluation
View the RGB effect through the cover at the intended distance. A representative sample lets you evaluate the installed appearance that a studio photo cannot show.
Electrical alignment
Match the strip, RGB controller and DC supply as one circuit. VST can review the model load and discuss how its leads should be prepared.
Repeatable identification
Record the model, voltage, color circuit and lead orientation on the order and reel label. Replacement sections can then be checked against the original approval.

Configuration details
Set the control and connection details

RGB control match
Use a controller compatible with the analog RGB circuit. Its color features alone do not establish that it can drive the strip.

Cut points planned
Plan complete sections using the model's marked cut interval. Keep enough pad space for the connection you will use.

Profile sample check
View the COB RGB LED strip through your diffuser to judge the installed line as well as the bare emitting surface.

Lead exit chosen
Place the lead exit where it can be reached for service, with space for the cable bend and joint.
