Fixture matching

80W LED Corn Light for Your Existing Screw-Base Fixtures

Choose an 80W LED corn light to match the different lamp holders already installed across your premises.
  • The model's published output is 9,600โ€“10,800 lm for suitable commercial and industrial interiors.
  • Four base options cover different fixture groups.
  • Check the 93 mm body diameter against the space in each fitting.
  • Discuss a representative sample with VST before choosing the replacement for multiple rooms.

Organize your replacements

Group fixtures before placing the order

Older fittings can look alike from the floor yet use different holders. Identify those groups in your 80W LED corn light survey before deciding the quantities for each configuration.
Group the fittings by holder marking, enclosure and room task. Test the 80W LED corn light bulb in a fitting from each group, then keep those groups separate in the quotation and packing quantities. That avoids treating a varied building as one identical installation.
✓

Photograph the holder marking

Photograph the empty holder closely after the circuit is isolated. Its marking is a firmer basis for selecting the base than the installed lamp's appearance.

✓

Record differences between rooms

Keep warm enclosed rooms separate from ventilated work areas in the survey. The same lamp can operate under different thermal conditions in different buildings.

✓

Count by configuration

List quantities against each base and CCT combination. Those distinctions matter when packing the order, receiving it and allocating lamps for installation.

Configuration support

Use the fixture survey to specify the order

As an 80W LED corn light supplier, VST can help turn the holder types and fixture groups in your survey into specified lamp configurations.
✓

Choose representative trial fittings

Our technical team can identify which fixture groups need their own trials, so the order is not based on a fitting that represents only part of the building.

✓

Holder matching support

Share the holder marking and condition with VST to clarify the base required before the proposed lamp is prepared.

✓

Coordinate the shipment

VST can discuss combined shipments and packing identification. Keep the lamp groups identifiable so they are easy to allocate on arrival.

✓

Clear sample agreement

Write down the sample configuration and what the trial will assess. Both teams can use that agreement when discussing the bulk order.

Product definition

Choosing an 80W LED corn light replacement

80W is the lamp's input power. Output and compatibility with the retained fixture determine whether it is a suitable replacement.
The VST model emits light around its body and lists 250W MH or 150W HPS replacement as a reference, subject to site assessment. An 80W LED corn light may suit moderate-output commercial fittings, but lamps with those legacy wattages are not interchangeable in every installation. Check the required illumination against the reflector and working height. The four base options belong to the same model and must be specified separately when ordering. Choose the one that matches the holder; having several options does not make a single base fit them all.

Published product

Specify the model for your lamp holder

As an 80W LED corn light manufacturer, VST identifies the base and CCT for each configuration in the quotation.

Configuration details

Keep each lamp configuration identifiable

At our 80W LED corn light factory, fit and light measurements can be checked against the configuration identified on the order.

Measured fitting space

Compare lamp dimensions with both the fixture opening and its internal space. Allow enough clearance to turn the lamp as you fit it.

Sample color data

CCT and CRI measurements help document the selected light appearance. Compare samples under the same conditions when making a choice; catalog photographs are a less reliable guide.

Configuration labels

Include your reference for each holder and CCT combination in the label brief. Staff can then distinguish similar-looking lamps when the shipment arrives.

Pack by configuration

Protective packing can be planned around the agreed configurations. Identifying the different bases reduces sorting when a single delivery serves several installations.

Visible lamp components

Three visible parts to inspect in the sample

Inspect the 80W LED corn light sample before fitting the same configuration in other fixtures.

Screw base

Specify the exact screw base

Put the screw-base designation on the order: it is the connection between the lamp and its holder. VST lists four choices for the 80W model. Inspect the isolated holder and identify its type; a loose trial fit is not a reliable match. The base also determines where the lamp sits inside the fitting. Adding an adapter changes that position and requires a separate suitability check.

LED emitters

Light from the outward-facing LEDs

LED packages on the outer faces emit light around the lamp. That broad distribution can light workshop circulation, while close repair work may still need a directed bench light. Assess the reflector together with the position of the work. The published CRI โ‰ฅ80 is a general-lighting specification; it does not establish suitability for specialist color inspection. Include that distinction when deciding which tasks the room lighting will serve.

LED circuit boards

Inspect the board attachments

Circuit boards hold the emitters on separate faces around the body. Check their placement and attachments, looking for loose panels or damage. Hold the lamp by suitable body surfaces and avoid pressing on LEDs or boards. If lamps will be serviced frequently, assess access and handling during the sample trial too. A lamp that lights normally still needs to be installed and removed without damaging those parts.

Application assessment

Different rooms need different fixture checks

Check each fixture group when considering the 80W LED corn light for these dry indoor tasks.

Repair workshops

Workshop lighting must show routes around benches and stationary machinery, with separate lights for close repair work. Check mounting height, machinery sightlines and existing switches before choosing the room layout. VST can discuss the 80W electrical configuration and a trial location where you can judge its contribution to general lighting.

Small stockrooms

Stockroom shelves need readable fronts and clear floor space, even when the fixtures predate the racks. Record shelf spacing, obstructions and the holder markings throughout the room. VST can help match the base options and discuss a layout for the current storage pattern, rather than relying on the most accessible fitting alone.

Retail service areas

Retail service rooms need light for returns, replenishment and merchandise handling. Compare the selected CCT with adjacent lights and check glare at standing eye level. A configuration sample from VST can be evaluated alongside the existing lighting to help you judge the visual transition between the service room and sales area.

Dry assembly benches

Retained pendants can provide general light in an assembly room while task lights serve fine work. Identify the working plane, shadows cast by people or equipment, and the product's color-rendering requirements. VST can discuss the lamp's role in the layout, with separate consideration for any inspection lighting the task requires.

Indoor shipping zones

Shipping zones need visible package edges and clear walking lanes while goods await dispatch. Check fixture positions, likely pallet shadows and the existing circuit controls before accepting the lighting. With VST, discuss the electrical configuration and choose a trial position that reflects the normal loading pattern in the shipping area.

Choose the base and CCT for the standard model, and discuss labels and packaging that identify each variant. Changes to dimensions or electronics need a separate request. Describe the constraint and the result required so the engineering work can be scoped before VST quotes a custom lamp.
VST checks incoming materials, assembly, finished lamps and outgoing goods. For a mixed-base order, keep each group tied to its configuration record. Agree which dimensional, electrical and optical checks will accompany the order; a report is not automatically included with every lamp.
Have an electrician isolate and verify the circuit, then inspect the holder and wiring. This Type B lamp connects directly after the old ballast is removed or bypassed. Check the ordered base, supply and fit before safely reassembling the fixture. Test a representative fitting from each group before repeating the conversion.

Ordering from VST

Arrange the sample and mixed-configuration order

Agree the conditions for evaluation and subsequent supply.
01

The regular model starts at 100 units, with evaluation samples discussed separately. VST can support your branding or construction requirements as an 80W LED corn light OEM supplier. These requests may affect the terms, so have the conditions stated in the quotation.
02

Samples are available and may be charged. Agree whether the charge for the selected configuration can be credited against a later bulk purchase. Identify the fixture group each sample will test when arranging the evaluation.
03

Regular lamps typically take 2โ€“3 weeks to produce. Light customization usually needs 3โ€“4 weeks; extensive development can take 4โ€“6 weeks. Confirm timing against the final scope and material schedule, with transport time added separately.
04

Yes. VST supports private labels and custom packaging. Set the reference for each configuration and check the artwork before production. Additional construction or packaging tooling may incur charges, so agree which changes are included.
05

Samples require full payment in advance; the available methods are PayPal, bank transfer and Western Union. For bulk purchases, the normal terms are a 30% deposit and the remaining 70% before shipment, paid by bank transfer. State the agreed terms in the order.
06

Ask which warranty applies to each quoted configuration. Regular models generally offer either 3- or 5-year coverage, with the selected term recorded for the order.

Product questions

Socket, orientation and control questions

Before using an 80W LED corn light across several fixture types, check the proposed adapters, operating orientation and controls. These details are easy to miss when the original installation information is incomplete, even if the lamp appears straightforward to fit.

The holder designation is the most useful starting point.
Information available Next step
Readable holder marking Specify that exact base
Only an old lamp photo Check its base designation
No reliable marking Have the isolated holder examined
Do not select solely from the old lamp wattage.

Use an adapter only after assessing the complete installation. It changes lamp position, leverage and available space, and must have suitable electrical and temperature ratings. Adapters are not part of the published configuration. Where available, start by ordering the lamp with the matching native base.

The published information does not approve unrestricted operating positions. Horizontal mounting changes the load on the holder and may affect temperature. Share the fixture arrangement before selecting that use. A photograph of the lamp lying on a table shows its appearance, not an approved operating orientation.

No. Switching interrupts the supply; dimming adjusts output through a compatible control method. The standard lamp is non-dimmable. An occupancy device also needs suitable switching capability and operating duty, so provide its model details for a compatibility check.

That depends on the work. Broad room lighting can support circulation and general tasks, while small details, deep machine recesses and precise inspection may still need directed light. Check the work surface and shadows before removing bench lights; increasing general brightness will not resolve every visibility problem.
