SMD color lighting
5050 LED strip options for the color functions you need
- Separate RGB color from dedicated white-light channels
- Match analog or digital control to the actual model
- Compare board width, voltage and cutting interval
- Obtain prepared lengths and lead options from VST
Function first
Match the 5050 LED strip to its control channels
Color-only scenes
RGB provides mixed colors across an analog run. White made by mixing RGB is a different optical source from a dedicated white emitter.
Dedicated white channels
Choose RGBW when one white channel is sufficient, or RGBCCT when you also need control over the white-light temperature.
Digital effects
Moving segments require an addressable model with a compatible protocol. Adding a phone app to an analog system does not give individual LEDs separate control.

System selection
Specify the strip and controller together
Function mapping
Tell us whether you need one color, dedicated white, adjustable white or moving segments. We can then identify the model family that supports that function.
Connection planning
Specify the channel assignment and termination with the controller. Counting wires or finding a connector shell that fits does not establish the complete electrical interface.
Application sampling
Try the chosen colors on the furniture, display material or wall finish. A sample gives you a more useful comparison than a heavily edited photograph of a reel.
Prepared configurations
Cut lengths, leads and packaging can be specified for the assembly task. Keep each configuration identified so a visually similar strip does not enter the wrong circuit.

Channel identification
Keep color outputs identified from the controller to the strip. Conductor colors alone are not a substitute for the model's actual pad labels.

Control selection
Analog channels and digital data perform different jobs. Record the required control type before choosing app features or the appearance of a wall panel.

Color-function choices
RGBW and RGBCCT add dedicated white functionality to RGB. Their added channels need compatible control and power planning rather than an adapter chosen by appearance.

Version labeling
Custom reel and carton labels can keep different circuit versions separate during assembly, especially where board width and external appearance are similar.

Explore the LED strip category
VST's category video introduces its strip-lighting work. Describe the color scenes and control equipment you intend to use when you contact the team. They can then identify a suitable circuit before you choose the reel length and mounting detail.
Cooperation and project communication
This video gives a customer's view of working with VST. A clear channel description and one agreed sample version help the lighting team, furniture assembly team and controls installer work from the same requirements on your project.
