G5 lamp selection

4ft T5 LED tube selection starts with actual fit

Compare the two published T5 output choices against your holder spacing and installation clearance.

  • 18W and 22W published model options
  • D20 × 1162mm listed dimensions
  • G5 base with fitting assessment
  • AC input evaluated separately from ballast

Nominal-length T5 selection

Measure the fitting before choosing the output

Start your 4ft T5 LED tube inquiry with the fixture measurements. The published VST 1200mm models list D20 × 1162mm dimensions.
VST’s two nominal-1200mm models use 18W or 22W, G5 bases, and AC85 to 265V input. Check body clearance and engagement with the fixture’s holders. As your T5 LED tube supplier, VST can discuss the lamp against photographs and measured fixture details. A G5 cap tells you the mechanical interface; it does not prove compatibility with every fluorescent electronic ballast.
✓

Check holder engagement

Record holder spacing and the dimension used in the lamp drawing. Check whether it refers to the body or the complete end-to-end assembly.

✓

Allow body clearance

The listed diameter is 20mm. Check reflector openings, covers, and holder surrounds so the tube has enough space inside the fixture.

✓

Choose output deliberately

The 18W and 22W versions suit different output needs in the same published form. Compare useful light at the work surface before choosing the higher power.

T5 configuration support

Make the narrow-fitting decision more reliable

VST can help you select a 4ft T5 LED tube using the model data and the measurements of your fixture.
✓

Two-model comparison

Physical fit boundary

What defines the 4ft T5 LED tube choice

Check nominal length, cap type, and actual lamp dimensions separately.
T5 lamps commonly have a slim tube and G5 interface, but the product drawing determines fit. VST’s models in this 4ft T5 LED tube range list D20 × 1162mm, with a nominal 1200mm description. These measurements are not interchangeable with an exact four-foot length or every fluorescent lamp’s reference dimensions. A T5 LED tube factory can help check the lamp against your holders and reflector. Verify the dimension reference, cap engagement, and electrical supply; the family name or pin appearance alone does not establish ballast compatibility.

T5 fit details

Check the lamp-fitting interface

Check the fit and keep the selected 4ft T5 LED tube clearly identified on the order.

G5 seating

Check how the pins engage the holders and allow the required clearance. Nominal length alone cannot reveal worn contacts or an obstruction around a holder.

Dimension reference

As your T5 LED tube vendor, VST can help clarify the drawing reference before you compare body and pin-tip lengths.

Task-based output

Choose power for the lighting task. Compare model data with the room and fixture; a higher wattage is not automatically the better choice.

Slender-lamp support

Support the cap and body during packing and handling. Even a slim tube can be damaged by loads placed on unsupported sections in a long carton.

T5 assembly detail

Three parts to inspect in the T5 assembly

Check the light source, contact end cap, and body of the 4ft T5 LED tube.

Light source

LED light source

The LED source determines output and color. Check those properties in the narrow T5 fixture, where reflectors and covers may change how the light looks. Record the chosen CCT and source details after sampling. A source photograph shows construction, not measured color rendition. It also cannot prove that the 18W and 22W lamps use the same source packages. Use information for the selected lamp when comparing them.

Contact interface

G5 end cap

The end cap positions the G5 contacts and holds the tube in its holders. Check the cap surround, access to the holder, and pin spacing. A listed body dimension does not explain every drawing reference or holder tolerance. Try the fit without forcing the contacts, and obtain the electrical instructions separately. A cap that looks like G5 does not establish operation from the original fluorescent ballast.

Structural detail

Aluminum body

The listed T5 assembly uses aluminum with a PC cover and a 20mm body diameter. It must clear the reflector, housing opening, and any retained cover. The aluminum provides part of the designed heat path, but its presence does not establish performance in every enclosed fixture. Check operating conditions and keep the ventilation and service clearances required by the selected lamp’s instructions.

Company overview for T5 supply

The company introduction accompanies the two published T5 models as you evaluate VST. Explain which fixture details your team can provide, then discuss how the lamp dimensions and electrical connection will be checked before arranging a sample.

Customer relationship context

The customer video adds a perspective on lamp supply. Discuss how you will raise holder-fit questions, share sample feedback, and identify versions so the T5 lamp you select remains clear through subsequent order conversations.

Indoor T5 applications

Evaluate T5 lamps in distinct lighting tasks

A 4ft T5 LED tube can serve different indoor tasks when its fixture and electrical connection are suitable.

Office ceiling fittings

An office fixture may suit the nominal-1200mm T5 lamp if holder fit and desk lighting are appropriate. Check the lamp dimensions, body clearance, and reflections on screens before choosing power. VST can discuss the 18W or 22W model and a suitable cover for a trial in the retained fixture.

Classroom desk lighting

Classroom lamps need readable work surfaces and a consistent appearance across rows. Check the fixture dimensions, switching, and light on the board before choosing a T5 model. Our team can provide model data and assess lamp fit, with a room trial used to compare the output required for the classroom.

Showroom product lighting

A showroom needs light for close inspection of merchandise without distracting glare. Identify the display position, viewing angle, and color appearance required from the T5 lamp. VST can discuss CCT and cover choices for the fixture, then help you assess a sample on the products rather than choosing by wattage alone.

Inspection workbenches

A suitable T5 fixture can provide local light at an inspection bench. Check visibility of fine detail, shadows from equipment, and clearance around the tube. Engineering support can compare the published lamp information with the mounting layout, while a bench trial lets you evaluate the optical choice for that task.

Commercial corridors

Corridor lighting needs clear walking routes and access for relamping. Check holder engagement, switching, and whether any cover restricts access to the tube. VST can discuss a suitable T5 lamp and its labeling, so the selected version can still be identified when you need replacement stock for the corridor.

A custom T5 LED tube manufacturer can discuss CCT, covers, caps, wiring, labels, and packaging. Treat any required dimensional or electrical change as a new lamp design; the standard model’s measurements and documentation do not automatically cover it.
T5 production includes source assembly, body closure, cap connection, electrical checks, appearance inspection, and protective packing. Keep the chosen power and interface identifiable. Assess any component change that affects fit or operation against the agreed lamp details.
Qualified personnel should isolate the fixture. Before connection, check the ordered input arrangement, holders, and lamp instructions. Assess ballast operation or bypass explicitly instead of relying on the G5 cap. Fit the lamp without force and complete the applicable installation checks.

T5 supply conditions

Commercial questions for the T5 order

Set the supply terms once lamp fit and wiring are clear.
01

Yes. Discuss the chosen cap and input first so the sample represents the lamp you plan to use. A later bulk-order credit for sample charges is possible only if agreed beforehand.
02

Both published 18W and 22W T5 records show an MOQ of 120 pieces. Changes to cap, electrical design, or dimensions may require a different quantity. Ask for the order conditions for the lamp you need.
03

For standard products, 2 to 3 weeks is the typical production period. Light customization generally needs around 3 to 4 weeks. Extensive changes take 4 to 6 weeks. The work, materials, and quantity affect scheduling; allow separately for approval and shipping.
04

Labels and cartons can distinguish the model, power, input, and cap. Agree these details with the artwork. Extensive physical changes may involve tooling charges; the amount and any later credit need a separate agreement.
05

Agree warranty coverage for the chosen T5 lamp and order. Regular model terms are generally 3 or 5 years. Similar dimensions or appearance do not establish identical coverage.
06

Pay sample invoices in full through bank transfer, PayPal, or Western Union. Bulk orders normally use bank transfer with a 30% deposit; the remaining 70% is due before shipment. Specify the chosen power and lamp on the order.

Dimensional questions

Fit questions before the T5 lamp is selected

A 4ft T5 LED tube may share a nominal label with another lamp while differing in dimensions or wiring. Resolve those fit and electrical questions before treating them as interchangeable in the same fixture.

Send the lamp marking and fixture measurements. Nominal, body, and end-to-end lengths may use different references. VST lists D20 × 1162mm, so check the drawing before equating it with another measurement. A 4ft T5 LED tube must fit the actual holders.

Lamp drawingDimension reference and end geometry.
Holder arrangementEngagement and available travel.
EnclosureOpening, reflector, and cover clearance.
Use the same measurement reference for lamp and fixture. The listed dimension alone does not explain the tolerance of a retained holder.

No. Check the listed 20mm diameter against the holder surrounds, reflector, and cover. A T5 1200mm LED tube description does not prove clearance in every slim fluorescent fixture. Inspect it before choosing the sample.

No. G5 describes the cap, not its electrical operation. Identify the ballast and choose a lamp expressly compatible with it, or follow a suitable conversion design. The published VST AC input does not establish operation from every high-frequency ballast.

Choose it when the installation needs the extra output and the lamp suits the fixture and operating conditions. Compare useful light and comfort using model data or a trial. A higher-power 4ft T5 LED tube does not automatically improve the room’s lighting.

Retain the cover only if it and the fixture suit the proposed lamp. Check clearance, thermal conditions, light transmission, and service access. Closing the cover physically does not prove the converted assembly will operate appropriately.
