40W project specification

40W LED tri-proof light for consistent project planning

Choose your 40W LED tri-proof light for the available electrical load and the task you need to illuminate.
  • 1200mm standard model with published output data.
  • 1500mm body with a 40W version available on request.
  • Specify voltage, cover and controls for each version.
  • VST can quote the fittings and quantities needed for your installation.

Power-budget planning

Compare quotations for the same installation scope

Two fittings rated at 40W may differ in length, light distribution, control behavior and the parts included for installation. Compare those differences before using price as the deciding factor.
For a 40W LED tri-proof light, specify the body and installation requirements as well as power. VST’s standard 1200mm model has published photometric data. The requested 40W version in the longer body needs separate performance data. As a 40W LED tri-proof light supplier, VST can quote these options separately so you can compare the complete fittings. Equal wattage alone does not make them equivalent.
✓

Comparable quotations

List the driver input, optical finish and mounting requirements together. Otherwise, similar quotations may cover different assemblies or leave necessary installation parts outside the price.

✓

Installed power allowance

Use fixture quantity and operating pattern to define the planned load. Any comparison with an old system needs that system’s actual consumption and usage.

✓

Useful distribution

A published lumen total is only one input to the lighting design. The room geometry and fitting positions determine whether light reaches the task.

✓

Identify each version

Identify each configuration distinctly in the order schedule. Similar exterior housings can conceal different drivers or color specifications that should not be interchanged during installation.

Production consistency

Carry the agreed specification into production

VST is a 40W LED tri-proof light manufacturer with engineering and staged quality checks to help produce the assembly you specified.
✓

Incoming material checks

Incoming checks compare the received components with your order requirements before assembly starts. Identify any components that must stay fixed in the specification.

✓

In-process control

In-process checks catch assembly details while they can still be corrected. For repeated installations, the relevant question is whether each fitting uses the agreed components.

✓

Final product assessment

Measure output and color on the completed fitting. A driver or LED package specification describes that component and cannot establish the performance of the entire luminaire.

✓

Sourcing continuity

Established supply relationships help VST plan materials. Identify controlled components early so any proposed alternatives can be evaluated before changing the accepted product.

Compare like with like

Choose the length of your 40W LED tri-proof light

Forty watts states the electrical rating. Specify the housing length and required distribution separately so the fitting suits the physical layout and the lighting task.
The standard VST 1200mm product is rated at 40W. VST also lists 40W on request for its 1500mm platform, giving a longer-body route when the site calls for it. The standard 1200mm output must not be assigned to that longer option without applicable data. A 40W IP65 LED tri-proof light request adds the protection requirement, but does not establish chemical resistance, control compatibility or suitability for an explosive atmosphere. Those decisions depend on the specified configuration and the actual environment.

Two body formats

Choose the housing before finalizing the 40W schedule

Our 40W LED tri-proof light factory offers a standard body and a longer version on request. Choose the length that fits your supports and lighting layout.

1200mm standard 40W

VST-STF-120-40W has published 5,200 lm output and a 1200mm enclosure. It is the direct starting point for standard-length commercial and warehouse schedules.

Supply details

Keep each version identifiable through delivery

Use the sample, label and packing details to track which version will arrive at site.

Configuration labels

Use custom labels to identify the specified voltage, power and light color. Exterior housings can look alike even when those choices differ.

Order-specific packing

VST can match cartons and internal protection to the body length. Base the packing dimensions for a longer requested version on the assembly you order.

Physical comparison

Samples can help you compare enclosure form and visible optical finish before selecting one configuration for repeated areas of the same project.

Consolidation planning

When lights share cargo space with other equipment, VST can coordinate dispatch and packing so the cartons fit the overall shipment plan.

Product construction

How the parts affect the finished fitting

Equal nominal power can produce different lighting results when the components differ.

LED package

The emitter’s contribution to output

The standard model uses SMD 2835 emitters. Their operating point and color choice affect performance, but the package designation alone does not set the fitting’s efficiency. Compare output from complete luminaires. If you request the longer 40W version, establish its LED arrangement and resulting performance separately from the standard 1200mm model before using those values in a design.

Diffuser

The cover changes the visible light

The diffuser changes the visible emitting surface and the distribution of light. Keep the transparent and opal finishes distinct in your specification, and assess each against the task. One preferred finish may not suit every location. Once you have accepted a cover for a repeat project, record that choice so later deliveries have the same optical appearance.

Housing

Body length sets the mechanical task

Housing length affects the fixings, space needed for handling and available room inside the fitting. A longer body at the same wattage may fit your layout better, but it changes transport and installation requirements. Check the whole mounting area for conflicts. Choose the body to suit that area, while evaluating electrical load separately; power does not determine the fitting’s length.

The VST business

The company introduction can help you prepare questions about production and communication. For a repeat 40W order, agree how the specified version will be identified on the quotation, during assembly and at dispatch.

A customer perspective

Hear customer feedback about working with VST, then agree the updates your own order will need when a specification changes or a shipping decision is due.

Task-based selection

Applications for a 40W LED tri-proof light

Select the assembly around the task, then establish the appropriate body format and protection.

Warehouse picking zones

Picking zones require visibility on labels and shelves as well as the floor between them. Establish shelf depth, working height and the usual reading direction before choosing positions, especially where racks create shadows. VST can support a lighting calculation and help compare the body formats against the actual picking task.

Factory circulation lanes

Factory lanes need a clear visual route around production cells while avoiding interference with overhead services. Record the lane geometry, local heat and the separation from machinery before fixing the luminaire positions. VST can discuss the enclosure configuration and mounting details appropriate to those conditions, with specialist machine lighting treated separately.

Parking pedestrian links

Pedestrian links in parking structures need visible crossings, doorways and changes in level. Check the interaction with vehicle sightlines, the ceiling height and any presence-control zoning before selecting the assembly. VST can examine distribution choices and discuss a control requirement that supports the route without assuming every sensor arrangement is compatible.

Commercial receiving rooms

Receiving rooms combine paperwork, parcel inspection and movement around stacks of goods. Identify the working surfaces, likely storage obstructions and desired light color before selecting the fitting and its position. VST can help develop a practical configuration schedule so inspection locations and circulation areas are considered for their different tasks.

Damp equipment service spaces

Damp service spaces need enclosed lighting where pumps or building equipment require access. Describe splash exposure, cleaning substances and the available mounting envelope, without assuming that the room’s equipment can support the luminaire. VST can discuss protection options and the mechanical information needed to select a suitable fitting for that service area.

Ordering information

Commercial questions for the 40W schedule

Use the quoted configuration as the basis for quantity, timing and warranty.
01

The standard 1200mm listing states 96 pieces. The longer 40W option and any split across different configurations should be quoted separately, since requested components or packaging can change the applicable order quantity.
02

Yes. Private labeling and customized packaging are supported. Provide the required artwork and identification details alongside the product schedule. Structural changes are a separate development matter and may require tooling expenditure.
03

Plan regular production at generally 2–3 weeks. A lightly customized order commonly needs approximately 3–4 weeks, while extensive customization may take 4–6 weeks. These periods exclude transportation and depend on materials, quantity and the production schedule.
04

The published standard 1200mm model carries five years. Record the warranty stated in the quotation for a requested configuration, especially the longer-body version, rather than automatically extending one model’s term to another assembly.
05

Sample costs may be credited against a later bulk purchase where that arrangement is agreed. Obtain the credit conditions at the sample stage; availability of samples is not a promise of free evaluation units.
06

Provide the product identification, a brief explanation and photographs or video. VST can discuss replacement support after reviewing the issue, with a separate dispatch or inclusion in a subsequent shipment as possible arrangements.

Selection questions

Before you order a 40W LED tri-proof light

When your 40W LED tri-proof light order includes several body formats or site requirements, compare each version against the same stated requirements. These questions cover quotation scope, energy comparisons and the data needed before committing to repeated installations.

Bring each offer onto the same installation scope before comparing totals.
Quotation area Check on each offer
Mounting Included brackets and required extra supports
Connection Cable entry and supplied termination arrangement
Operation Driver input and defined control function
Presentation Labeling, internal protection and cartons

That cannot be decided from body length alone. Source arrangement, diffuser and installed spacing influence the result. Obtain distribution data for the requested longer version and compare both arrangements in the actual room geometry rather than assuming a longer fitting always improves uniformity.

An IP65 requirement is only part of outdoor suitability. UV exposure, temperature, mounting orientation and the local weather conditions also matter. Describe the uncovered location explicitly so the proposed materials and installation can be evaluated instead of assuming an indoor damp-area configuration is suitable.

You can estimate energy only with comparable operating data. Record the old system’s actual input, the proposed fixture count, annual operating hours and control behavior. A percentage saving without that baseline can misrepresent the outcome, especially when the new installation changes the required light level.

Use the selected driver’s electrical data and the switching device rating. Inrush behavior and circuit protection can limit the quantity even when steady-state wattage appears modest. The applicable electrical design should establish the limit for the actual configuration.
