Short commercial tubes

2ft LED tube lights matched by fixture family

Match 2ft LED tube lights to the existing T5 or T8 fitting, then choose the light the space needs.
  • Compare the two listed short models separately.
  • Identify the holder and supply for each fixture group.
  • Try clear or frosted covers in the installed fitting.
  • Keep the chosen version identifiable for future orders.

Separate the fixture families

Identify the short-tube family in each fitting

A building may use several types of 2ft LED tube lights. Fittings with the same nominal length can still need different replacements.
VST can help organize the requirement by fitting as a 2ft LED tube light manufacturer. Its listed T8 and T5 600-series models differ in dimensions and bases. Identify the families before comparing prices, using a representative lamp from each group. Keep its circuit details with the record. A building-wide quantity without those distinctions will not establish which lamps fit mechanically and electrically.
✓

Identify each fixture family

Record each original lamp code and holder. A 2 foot LED tube light must match that family, even when adjacent fittings look similar.

✓

Set the appearance target

Choose color and diffuser appearance for each room where they need to differ. Equal nominal power does not guarantee that lamps will look consistent.

✓

Record the accepted version

Keep the selected model and electrical version on the order record. It will help you reorder the right lamp when similar short tubes are held in stock.

Repeatable product selection

Make each fixture group clear on the order

As your 2ft LED tube light supplier, VST can match the fixture schedule to specific lamp versions so the order lines remain clear.
✓

Two product families

VST lists separate T5 and T8 models. Check each against the intended fitting and identify the cap it requires, without assuming that both use the same connection.

✓

Lighting design support

For larger rooms, our lighting team can discuss the layout and photometric information. This helps you assess illumination at the task, which lamp power alone cannot establish.

✓

Stable specification handover

Retain the technical details with the sample and order. The chosen cover, color and connection should remain clear when the order moves into production.

✓

Adaptable packing details

VST can discuss pack quantities, labels and protective cartons for mixed deliveries. Distinct labels help the site team send each lamp version to the right area.

✓

Consolidated order logistics

VST can coordinate shipment with goods from other sources. Keep each short-tube configuration identified clearly when several project orders share the transport.

T5 and T8 fit

What counts as a two-foot tube?

2ft LED tube lights are described by a nominal short-length class. Their family-specific dimensions remain essential to a successful replacement.
Two feet is 609.6mm, while a 60cm LED tube description points to a nominal 600mm class. Neither conversion defines the finished lamp's contact-to-contact fit. VST's T8 600-series specification records D28 × 600mm, while its T5 600-series records D20 × 562mm. The published T5 base is G5; the T8 listing includes G13 or G5 configuration options. These are separate constructions, not universal sockets. For 2ft LED tube lights, identify the drawing and circuit that belong to the selected version before evaluating it in the retained fitting.

Published short platforms

Supply details

Keep short-tube versions easy to identify

The specification needs to stay recognizable from the initial evaluation through delivery.

Measured color and output

VST can support lamp evaluation with photometric testing. Compare the relevant model data when different fitting types need to produce a consistent appearance.

Inspection through production

Quality checks cover incoming materials through outgoing products. Identify which differences between models need to remain clear in the inspection record.

Project carton marks

Carton marks can identify the room intended for each short-tube version. This makes it easier to sort a delivery containing different fixture families.

Options with a purpose

Discuss cover, color and label changes that serve a defined need in the application. Keep optional versions focused on those project requirements.

Construction choices

Light source, housing and cover

Check how the materials and components of 2ft LED tube lights suit the installation.

Emission quality

LED light-source selection

The light source determines the lamp's color and emission characteristics. Judge a short replacement tube with the task and neighboring lights in view. Look at the selected CCT and CRI, which tell you more than a general brightness claim. Request finished-product data for the actual model. A photo of the exterior cannot identify the LED package or establish the lamp's measured performance.

Thermal structure

Aluminum housing

Both listed short models use aluminum in their construction. The housing supports the assembly and helps transfer heat from internal parts. That transfer also depends on contact with those parts and airflow within the fitting. Check the installed conditions, especially behind a closed diffuser. Aluminum alone cannot establish the operating temperature or lifetime of the finished installation, so assess it as part of the complete assembly.

Optical surface

Clear or frosted PC cover

The cover affects how the lit surface looks from the room. When a short fitting is close to your line of sight, visible LED points or reflections may be uncomfortable. Compare clear and frosted options in the intended fitting. Its reflector, shielding and mounting height also shape the result. A cover that works well in one room may look different in another installation.

Working with VST

Get to know VST before planning the rollout

Watch the company introduction and the accompanying customer video.

Meet VST before planning the rollout

The company introduction gives background for planning a replacement program with VST. Use your fixture schedule to organize the technical work and order groups. Each set of 2ft LED tube lights must still be checked against the fitting it will use.

Customer cooperation in perspective

The customer video offers a view of supplier cooperation. For your rollout, agree how sample choices, product identification and delivery groups will be coordinated. The selected lamp and fitting still need their own technical evidence to support any model-specific result.

Room-by-room selection

Choose short tubes for the room they will light

Match the fitting and supply requirements before selecting 2ft LED tube lights for these compact spaces.

Compact office ceiling fittings

Office ceiling fittings need to light desks without distracting reflections on screens. Identify the fixture family, ceiling spacing and normal viewing positions before choosing a tube. VST can discuss the relevant T5 or T8 model and available photometric data to help evaluate the lighting proposed for the room.

Cabinet worktop runs

A cabinet lamp needs room to operate and a clear path for removal. Check the recess width, holders and nearby surfaces that could cause reflections. VST can compare the short-model drawings and diffuser options with your cupboard, helping you choose a sample to assess in the actual assembly.

Small teaching and reading rooms

Small reading rooms need consistent light across desks and attention to reflections from the board. Identify the short fitting, preferred color appearance and any emergency or control requirements. Our team can help choose lamp versions and plan a room trial, with those additional system functions checked separately from normal lighting.

Utility and service rooms

Compact utility rooms may offer little mounting space and expose fittings to occasional cleaning. Check the enclosure, local temperature and clearance from stored materials. VST can discuss short-tube construction and the required protection, with the complete fitting assessed for the conditions it will face in that service room.

Retail back-counter lighting

Behind a retail counter, the lamp should make labels and small items easy to see in limited space. Check the fitting dimensions, required color rendition and the usual standing position. VST can help choose the short tube and cover for a trial using the counter's shelves, worktop and shielding.

Group the requirement

Request a quotation for each fixture group

Send a representative lamp label and quantity for each type of fitting. VST's 2ft LED tube factory can identify the relevant T5 or T8 model and quote the replacement groups separately.

As a 2ft LED tube wholesale supplier, VST can support repeat orders when optional changes are recorded clearly. Discuss color, PC cover, cap, labels and cartons for each version. T5 and T8 changes need engineering checks within the corresponding assembly; do not transfer them between families without assessment.
Specify the light source, housing, cover, electrical system and caps for each family. VST can keep the accepted version identified in its inspection and packing records so similar-looking short lamps remain distinguishable after dispatch.
A qualified electrician should isolate the circuit and identify each fitting before changing lamps. Use the selected model's instructions for ballast and supply wiring, and verify its holder requirements. Install a representative fitting from each group first. Keep any required conversion labels with the completed fixture for future servicing.

Order Coordination

Feedback on Keeping Variants Clear

Clear records help a mixed replacement program move through several teams.
Having separate lines for the two lamp families made the quotation much easier for our site supervisors to use.

Working with VST

Organizing a short-tube supply program

01

Each listed model requires a minimum of 120 pieces. Quote T5 and T8 quantities separately and identify any custom components or packaging so VST can confirm the applicable conditions.
02

Yes. Arrange representative samples of 2ft LED tube lights for the different fittings. Charges may be credited toward a later bulk order by agreement. Establish the accepted versions before releasing building-wide quantities and final artwork.
03

For planning, regular production is generally 2–3 weeks. Light customization commonly requires approximately 3–4 weeks, and extensive changes approximately 4–6 weeks. Material availability, order size and scheduling affect the final date. Shipping and site installation should be planned separately.
04

Yes, private labels and customized packaging can be discussed for the selected tubes. Provide the required identifiers and approved artwork. Keep the label consistent with the actual electrical version and any documented certification scope, especially when several short-lamp products share similar packaging.
05

For bulk orders, the normal bank-transfer arrangement is 30% deposit and 70% before shipment. Samples use full advance payment by PayPal, Western Union or bank transfer. The quotation should state which arrangement applies to each stage of your project.

Product questions

Questions for a short-tube replacement program

After grouping the fittings, match 2ft LED tube lights to the building's electrical arrangements. Mixed circuits and emergency fittings may change what the replacement involves. The following questions help identify those requirements and the details to retain in the fixture schedule.

A straight 2 ft LED tube is not a substitute for a U-bend solely because the fitting is described as two-foot. The holder positions and lamp geometry differ. Identify the original lamp shape before sourcing. A U-bend replacement or a documented fixture conversion is a separate product route from the straight models discussed here.

Group the fittings by the features that determine replacement compatibility.
Record Reason
Original lamp identifier Separates physical families
Visible control-gear model Identifies the existing electrical route
Location and quantity Defines allocation and trial coverage
Group adjacent rooms separately when their fixtures differ.

Follow the ballast-compatible lamp instructions and the permitted lamp combination. Some systems do not allow mixed LED and fluorescent lamps on the same ballast. If a circuit conversion is chosen, it must follow the selected LED system's documentation rather than an assumption that each holder is electrically independent.

Only when the selected lamp and emergency equipment are documented as compatible. A normal lamp operating correctly from mains power does not prove emergency operation. Identify emergency fittings separately in the schedule so their system requirements are addressed before the standard replacement order is finalized.

No. The published VST platforms here list AC85V–265V input, which does not include 277V. State the actual supply early if your installation uses a different voltage. A separately specified electrical version would need its own data and approval; the base or length cannot establish that capability.
