SMD integration choices
2835 LED strip selection for your lighting assembly
- Compare published board widths and cutting intervals
- Choose fixed white, adjustable white or a specified color circuit
- Keep input voltage and control method tied to the model
- Ask VST for sample preparation around your installation detail
Start with the assembly
Specify the complete 2835 LED strip
Fit at the termination
Allow for the soldered lead or connector when checking clearance. The termination can be wider than the straight section of the board.
Cut-length resolution
Use the selected model's actual cutting interval when setting finished lengths. A small nominal board width does not guarantee a short cut unit.
Host-product interface
Identify the power source and who will supply the control. Select the complete circuit for those interfaces; the LED package's appearance cannot establish compatibility.

Engineering coordination
Match the strip to your product design
Mechanical shortlist
With a cross-section of the recess, our team can compare board widths and connection clearance before you build a detailed sample assembly.
Optical options
Describe the material you will illuminate and how you want it to look. We can discuss color temperature and color-rendering options for that task.
Electrical documentation
Record the supply and wiring plan for the chosen model. Your assembly team can use that information when validating the strip inside their product.
Prepared strip lengths
We can prepare leads and cut sections to an agreed drawing, reducing the full-reel handling needed when your team installs the strip in the finished product.

Width range
The catalogue includes several board widths, allowing a strip shortlist around a constrained opening. Connector clearance still needs its own check.

Termination choice
Discuss lead length and connector requirements before production so the selected electrical interface can fit the host product without unnecessary adapters.

White-light selection
Different white-light and CRI options belong to specific models. Use the chosen configuration consistently when comparing samples or ordering adjacent runs.

Packing by configuration
Reel and package identification can distinguish closely related models. Clear labels help prevent a strip with the wrong voltage reaching the assembly station.

VST's strip range and customer service
From strip category to model
Watch VST's LED strip introduction, then describe the recess and lighting function your product needs. This gives the team a basis for choosing a model, since 2835 strips can have different board layouts and electrical requirements.
Following the communication process
The customer video introduces working with VST. For an integration project, assign responsibility for drawings, sample revisions and order details. Both teams then know which strip version to use when a change to the surrounding product affects the lighting assembly.

Model data
Published 2835 LED strip constructions
| Selection Route | Representative Model | Voltage | W/m | PCB Width | Cut Interval | Use It When |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Narrow fixed white | S2835L78W0403 | 12V | 4 | 3.5mm | 38.5mm | Space is tight and a compact fixed-white circuit suits the product. |
| High-CRI white | S2835L120H1408 | 12V / 24V | 14.4 | 8mm | 50mm | You need to assess colored materials under dedicated white light. |
| Higher-output white | S2835L240W2210 | 24V | 22 | 10mm | 33.33mm | The assembly needs more white output and sufficient cooling is available. |
| Adjustable white | S2835L168CCT1810 | 24V | 8.6+8.6 | 10mm | 83.3mm | The application needs warm-to-cool white adjustment through a CCT controller. |
| 48V fixed white | S2835L120W1010 | 48V | 9.6 | 10mm | 100mm | Your system uses a 48V supply; plan feed positions for the installed length. |
| Analog RGB | S2835L120RGB1408 | 12V / 24V | 14.4 | 8mm | 50mm | The whole connected run should display the same commanded color. |
| RGB plus white | S2835L48RGBW0910 | 12V / 24V | 9 | 10mm | 250mm | You need color and a dedicated white channel in one strip. |
| Addressable RGB | S2835L96RGBD1606 | 24V | 16 | 6mm | 62.5mm | Moving segments are required; match the controller protocol to this model. |
