Factory conversion planning

200W UFO LED high bay light for your factory upgrade

Evaluate a 200W UFO LED high bay light against the existing installation before choosing the replacement quantity.
  • The VST-HBL-200WF platform is published at 30,000 lm at full power.
  • 200W, 150W and 120W settings support a defined commissioning plan.
  • Optical, control and mounting choices can be matched to the conversion scope.

Conversion priorities

Check what the upgrade must fit

Check the existing circuits, occupied positions and production equipment before choosing a replacement fitting. Each can affect the upgrade.
A 200W UFO LED high bay light is a compact round option for factory lighting. Existing suspension points may be reusable, but the new distribution still needs to suit the grid. Send VST the layout and mark areas with poor visibility. As a 200W UFO high bay supplier, VST can assess the optics and help define a trial that reflects conditions on your production floor.
✓

Describe the existing system

Identify the fittings, their spacing and how they are switched. Include any areas where shadows, glare or poor coverage already affect work.

✓

Plan access during production

Record the routes and shutdown windows available to installation equipment. A practical proposal must fit the way the facility can be accessed.

✓

Choose a trial area

Choose a trial bay with the tasks and surrounding surfaces found on your production floor. Testing elsewhere may miss the problems the conversion needs to solve.

✓

Keep a commissioning record

Identify the final power setting and control grouping by location. Future maintenance is easier when the installed arrangement is documented clearly.

Upgrade support

Answer the site questions before changeover

VST, a 200W UFO LED high bay light manufacturer, can use your installation details to help specify a conversion sample.
✓

Existing-layout assessment

Send your current fitting positions and task requirements. VST can develop a DIALux proposal and identify where the layout needs adjustment.

✓

Electrical configuration discussion

The electrical engineering team can address the intended control interface and driver choice. Supply circuit and controller details before a version is selected.

✓

Output verification

Request electrical and photometric measurements for the sample version you are evaluating, so the lighting proposal uses data for that configuration.

✓

Coordinated order preparation

For a staged conversion, discuss quantity, identification and packing by installation area so the order documents support the sequence of work.

Conversion basis

Compare the installation, not only lamp wattage

The 200W UFO LED high bay light rating describes input power. It does not specify the number of fittings needed or guarantee equivalence to an old discharge-lamp installation.
Evaluate the total system at the task plane. Existing reflectors, aged lamps, ballast consumption, dirt and building surfaces can all affect the baseline. The proposed LED fitting has its own distribution and control behavior. Use a layout calculation to establish coverage, then assess representative conditions on site. A 200 watt UFO high bay may be suitable for a particular conversion, but a wattage label cannot settle illumination, glare or circuit loading on its own.

Implementation support

From site assessment to delivered units

VST's 200W UFO LED high bay light factory can specify the product and prepare the order for your installation sequence.

Lighting simulation

Use a proposed layout to examine the working areas affected by conversion. It provides a reasoned starting point for fixture quantity and distribution.

Quality stages

Material checks continue through assembly and outgoing inspection. The agreed version defines the product that must be kept consistent through production.

Control options

Select the listed interface that suits the project. Matching the driver to the controller is a separate step from choosing nominal power.

Delivery identification

Agree product and carton identification for each installation area. This helps the team sort fixtures when replacement work takes place in several stages.

Fixture construction

Three parts that affect the conversion

Check component choices against the working conditions the new fittings will face.

Visible quality

LED source

VST specifies Philips Lumileds LEDs for this platform. Choose the CCT and color rendering needed for the materials you inspect or handle. A change in light appearance can change how finished surfaces look during a conversion. Examine an operating sample with those materials to judge suitability; a scene that looks brighter may still be wrong for the task.

Distribution control

PC optical lens

The PC lens determines how the light spreads from the 200W UFO LED high bay light. Published options are 60°, 90° and 120°. Use the optical file for the actual lens when examining the existing grid. If equipment blocks a light path, a different fixture position may matter more than increasing power or selecting a narrower optic.

Thermal path

Aluminum heat sink

The finned die-cast housing is part of the fixture’s thermal path. Its operating environment is the air near the roof, which can differ from the temperature where people work. Keep ventilation around the body and consider dust deposits in the maintenance plan. The published ambient range does not remove the need to assess local heat sources and restricted airflow.

Conversion environments

Assess the task before choosing the layout

Evaluate the 200W UFO LED high bay light in the working environments below.

Machining workshops

A machining workshop needs overhead visibility around enclosed machines and along service routes. Check machine height, operator sightlines and any rotating-equipment concerns that call for a specific flicker assessment. VST can model the general lighting and discuss driver-related test information for the chosen version without assigning an unsupported low-flicker rating.

Parcel sorting halls

Sorting conveyors require clear visibility of packages across moving work zones. Establish conveyor height, reading positions and obstructions created by the handling equipment. VST can assess fixture alignment and optical distribution, with lighting evaluated on the actual sorting surfaces rather than relying only on a floor-level average.

Indoor dispatch areas

A dispatch hall combines pallet staging, vehicle access and varying daylight near doors. Check the door openings, movement routes and transitions between bright and shaded areas. VST can develop a layout for the indoor working zone and discuss control grouping around its operating pattern and available daylight.

Fleet service workshops

Service bays contain lifts and vehicles that can change the shape of the illuminated space. Establish maximum lifting height and where staff inspect the vehicle, including locations needing separate task lighting. VST can examine suspension positions and general coverage so fittings remain clear of the workshop’s equipment movement.

Technical training halls

Practical training spaces combine demonstration equipment with benches and circulation areas. Identify the visual tasks, temporary teaching arrangements and any need to reduce output during presentations. VST can discuss a suitable optical version and control interface, then support a sample assessment under representative teaching and workshop conditions.

A 200W UFO LED high bay light can be configured through the published lens, CCT and control choices. Reflectors and a mounting bracket are optional for this platform. Finish, cable requirements, labels and packing can also be discussed. Any requested interface must be checked as a complete driver-and-control combination.
VST checks incoming materials, assembly and outgoing goods. Specify the lens and driver version before production starts. If the conversion takes place in phases, keep the agreed configuration throughout and record any accepted changes. Similar-looking fittings may have different specifications.
Isolate and verify the electrical supply before removing old equipment. A qualified installer should follow the new fixture’s wiring instructions and check the structural fixing, earthing and control conductors. Do not feed the LED fitting through an old HID ballast. Measure the completed installation at the designated working planes and record the chosen power setting.

Production arrangements

Prepare the commercial side of the conversion

Request terms for the selected model and planned installation sequence.
01

VST-HBL-200WF has a published minimum of 50 units. This is the model’s starting order quantity, not a recommendation for the number of fixtures in your building. A quotation for customized controls, marking or other requirements will identify the applicable conditions.
02

Yes. VST supports samples for evaluation. Agree the required optical and control version, the sample charge and what the trial should resolve. Sample costs may be credited against a later bulk purchase under an agreed arrangement rather than an unconditional refund promise.
03

The published bulk-manufacturing guide is approximately 15–25 days. Customization planning is usually 3–4 weeks for light changes or 4–6 for extensive work. Before booking the shutdown, obtain a schedule based on the actual configuration, materials and quantity, with shipping added separately.
04

Discuss the required labels, carton markings and packing groups with VST. Custom identification and packaging are supported. The agreed packing list should make the destination of each configuration clear, especially where installation phases use different optics or controls.
05

Bulk orders normally use bank transfer: 30% as the deposit, followed by 70% before shipment. Samples require 100% advance payment and can be paid by PayPal, Western Union or bank transfer. Record any agreed commercial arrangements before production begins.
06

The model’s published warranty is five years. Send the order identification, a concise fault description and supporting photos or video. VST can assess the issue and discuss replacement units dispatched separately or included with a subsequent shipment. No automatic freight or unrelated-damage coverage is implied.

Before the changeover

200W conversion questions

Before choosing a 200W UFO LED high bay light as a replacement, check the electrical installation and decide what the trial must establish. These questions address the remaining constraints on the conversion.

Yes. Add the approximate dimensions, mounting height and current fitting details to the photographs. Mark the locations where visibility is poor. That is enough to start a discussion, although a final lighting calculation may require a more precise layout and working-plane information.

Have the circuit assessed using the selected driver’s operating current, inrush and protection requirements. Lower steady power does not by itself prove that the same switching device or breaker can handle an arbitrary number of LED drivers. Ask for the driver data before finalizing circuit groups.

Compare the trial with defined conditions rather than visual brightness alone.
Check Keep consistent
Working-plane light Measurement points and task height
Visual comfort Normal occupied sightlines
Controls Controller version and operating sequence
Site conditions Daylight and surrounding equipment

No. The published fixture surge specification is one part of the electrical design. Site exposure, upstream protection and earthing still need assessment by the responsible electrical professional. It should not be read as a promise that the fitting withstands every lightning event or installation fault.

Specify that behavior explicitly. Dimming to a low level, standby operation and full switch-off are different requirements. The selected driver and sensor combination must provide the intended sequence, including startup and timeout behavior; a generic sensor option does not settle those details.

Do not assume mechanical or optical compatibility. The new fitting has its own mounting and lens arrangement, and an old reflector can obstruct cooling or alter distribution. Use the supported accessory for the selected model, or submit the proposed combination for a specific assessment.

Provide camera shutter settings, frame rate and the lowest intended brightness. Standard specifications do not establish suitability for every camera. Evaluate the selected driver and sample under the actual inspection conditions.
