Sample cost depends on the product type, customization level, quantity, and whether tooling or special materials are required. For custom samples, sample fees may be needed before development. We can discuss to refund sample charges once the repeat orders reach some threshold.
What should we confirm during the sample stage?
You should confirm dimensions, lighting effect, CCT, brightness, wiring, connector, mounting method, material, packaging, and any critical compatibility details. These points should be locked before production.
How do you reduce differences between sample and mass production?
VST uses confirmed specifications, approved samples, and clear production requirements as references before bulk production. Any important change should be reviewed before production starts.

Lead Time

What is the typical lead time?
Lead time depends on product type, order quantity, customization level, sample approval, material availability, and production schedule. Standard products are usually faster than modified or fully customized products. Standard products normally needs 3~7 days for samples and 15~35 days for mass production. Light customization products take 7~14 days for first samples, then 15~20 days for mass production. Deep customization products take 3~6 weeks for first samples, then 20~40 days for repeat orders.
What affects lead time the most?
The main factors are requirement clarity, sample confirmation speed, material readiness, tooling needs, production complexity, quantity, and documentation requirements.
Can you support urgent orders?
VST can evaluate urgent requirements based on product availability, customization level, quantity, and current production schedule. It is best to share your required delivery date at the beginning.
Does customization increase lead time?
Usually yes, especially when new tooling, special materials, sample adjustment, or additional confirmation is required. Light customization is usually faster than deeper custom development.
When should we start sourcing for a project?
For project or OEM development, it is better to contact VST before final confirmation of installation or product structure. Early communication helps avoid last-minute specification mismatch and schedule pressure.

Certifications

What certifications can VST support?
Available certification support depends on the product type, target market, and customization level. VST can provide available compliance documents and product information for evaluation. When specific certification is required, VST can also cooperate with customers by preparing samples, specifications, drawings, and related technical information to support the certification process.
